FactSet Releases New Signals Capabilities

NORWALK, Conn., December 7, 2021 - FactSet (NYSE:FDS) (NASDAQ:FDS), a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications, and industry-leading service, announced the release of its S&P 500 Constituents Changes signal, an added capability to FactSet Signals intelligent notifications.

The S&P 500 Constituent Changes Signal is unrivaled technology that predicts which companies may enter or exit the S&P 500 index within six months, taking into consideration the company’s market capitalization and recent M&A activity.

Tracking changes to the S&P 500 index is fundamental for investors as it is one factor indicative of U.S. stock performance. With the S&P 500 Constituent Changes Signal, clients are alerted when a company is predicted to enter or exit the S&P 500 index. Predictions are made daily and clients can track and review changes in sector weightings over time.

The S&P 500 Constituents Changes signal is a part of the recently released FactSet Signals that supports client workflows by allowing them to view recent changes across multiple content sets for companies trading globally. FactSet clients can access this new tool via multiple reports in both the FactSet workstation and web applications. Signals notifications are also available via email alerts and through FactSet’s API solutions, allowing clients to flexibly consume FactSet content in their internal applications, CRM systems, or data analysis software.
