November 9, 2017

FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications and industry-leading services, announced today that two of its executives, Chief Information Officer, Cindy Finkelman and Global Head of Marketing, Brenda Tsai, were recognized at the 2017 Markets Choice Awards: Women in Finance luncheon hosted by Markets Media.

Ms. Finkelman received one of the event’s signature awards, CIO of the Year, for her impact on the company by building strategic, effective and efficient capabilities through transformational programs and mentoring of women technologists and her philanthropic work. Ms. Tsai was recognized for Excellence in Marketing for her work growing the FactSet brand and reputation and redefining FactSet’s marketing and communications strategies.

“When I was asked by Markets Media to distill my guiding principles to just one, I chose ‘pay it forward’ because I believe wholeheartedly in the spirit of success by breeding success,” explained Cindy. “Collectively we have achieved because we meet the challenges together. As a community, we are planting a seed for the future, finding opportunities to engage, mentor, and lift up those women who represent the future of our industry.”

“I am passionate about growing our brand, business and people and this recognition is gratifying on many levels. It reinforces the impact that diverse and multi-faceted teams can have on employees, our clients, and the industry,” said Ms. Tsai.
