Style, Performance, and Risk Analysis
FactSet’s returns-based portfolio analysis solutions provide reports and charts that help you study a portfolio relative to a benchmark, competitor fund, or peer group. Beyond analyzing particular portfolios, use FactSet to research the optimal allocation of a set of indices or products. When you don’t know the products, use fund screening to identify all portfolios that meet your exact criteria.

Customized Presentations
With FactSet, you can dynamically create a presentation of a portfolio’s style, performance, and risk using any combination of reports and charts. Each presentation can contain as many slides as you wish, each with as many reports as you need. Combine any type of analysis, and split views in any proportion for a completely custom presentation.
Tailored Reports
In each report, you can select a myriad of different options, including portfolio, benchmark, date range, style set, statistic, and/or peer universe. FactSet lets you specify options for an individual report or all reports in a presentation at once. Once the information in the reports is exactly what you want, customize the formatting to match your firm’s corporate identity.
Unsurpassed Data
Analyze your portfolios’ returns against 20,000 equity and fixed income indices along with competitor mutual funds, institutional/separate accounts, and hedge fund universes. Choose from two sources of competitor mutual fund universes or from four sources of institutional separate account universes.
Integration with Microsoft Office
The presentations you create in FactSet can be easily exported to Microsoft Office applications to help you take your analysis to the next step. Quickly download entire saved presentations directly into PowerPoint and Excel. Later, you can dynamically update the presentation directly from within Microsoft Office. You can also build your own custom templates in Excel that return the latest FactSet data.
