Tuesday, November 10, 2009
PilotHouse Innovator Awards recognize companies for their innovative IT deployments.
FactSet was one of 16 organizations recognized by Nemertes Research's PilotHouse Innovator Awards for their outstanding deployment of information technology. FactSet received the "Best Innovators for WAN/ACS/Branch" award.
Nemertes chose FactSet for effectively leveraging technology in pursuit of business benefits, such as improved uptime and performance, increased agility, decreased operating costs, and overall superior IT service delivery.
FactSet's IT service team works to ensure that the deployment of FactSet software, infrastructure, and disaster recovery plans meets our clients' mandated business policies. This includes support for software packaging and deployment; portfolio integration; data delivery and web services; managed WAN infrastructure options; firewalls, routers, rules, and proxies; capacity planning, business continuity planning; and security.
"Competition for a PilotHouse Award is very tough, so the IT leaders within these organizations truly demonstrate the thought leadership required to make IT a strategic part of overall strategy and operations,” says Robin Gareiss, executive vice president and senior founding partner, Nemertes.
Winners were judged on criteria such as the number of high-business value IT initiatives developed and the number of leading-edge technologies deployed.
