Monday, January 05, 2009

FactSet ranked 13 on Glassdoor.com's "50 Best Places to Work" list.

Glassdoor.com is a website that allows people around the world to anonymously post salaries, ratings, and reviews of the companies for which they work. More than 18,000 companies are profiled on the site.

The "50 Best Places to Work List" was populated through a voluntary 20-question survey, where employees rated their overall satisfaction with their company and specific workplace factors, including: career opportunities, communication, compensation and benefits, employee morale, recognition and feedback, senior leadership, work/life balance, and fairness and respect. To be eligible for the Best Places to Work award, companies must have received more than 25 reviews from U.S.-based employees.

FactSet has an overall rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Glassdoor.com and CEO, Phil Hadley, has an approval rating of 89%. FactSet's highest rankings in the reviews were for Work/Life Balance. Benefits such as Educational Assistance, free working lunch, and a 401K match program are among the reasons for the high reviews.
