Monday, July 13, 2009
July 13, 2009 (Norwalk, CT) -- FactSet Research Systems Inc. (NYSE:FDS | NSDQ:FDS) released an interactive online resource for financial professionals. After months of development, FactSet Insider is now live. The goal of FactSet Insider is to provide users with one comprehensive site where they can turn news into know-how.
“At FactSet, our mission has always been to transform information into intelligence,” said Meredith Binder, Vice President of Global Marketing at FactSet. “Insider is just another extension of that. With Insider, we show you how the headlines in your morning paper impact the work you do in the office, and ultimately, make your job a little easier.”
FactSet Insider allows users to read articles and editorials that connect up-to-date news stories with data and analytics on FactSet; listen to podcast conversations between FactSet and industry experts; follow our Risk blog; watch webdemos that explore how to expand analysis; and more, all in one place.
Once users access Insider, they can sign up to receive e-mails when stories of interest are published, or they can subscribe to an RSS feed for any or all available categories. Users can get stories e-mailed directly to their BlackBerry, print stories to keep as handy tip sheets, or add FactSet podcasts to their iPod.
