Principal

Market Metrics is looking for an entrepreneurial leader with strong presentation skills and a proven history of developing lasting client relationships to join our team of Principals.  The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed in a multiple-stage, extended selling process and be comfortable working in a small, dynamic environment. 

 

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead sales and client development efforts to achieve annual revenue growth goals
  • Build and maintain one-on-one relationships with the most senior executives at client firms 
  • Present research results to clients and facilitate strategic discussion of relevant implications
  • Lead development and sales efforts for new business/product launches
  • Work with other Principals to make strategic decisions regarding the direction of the firm 
  • Oversee the execution of current studies
  • Manage and develop Associates and Analysts
  • Be comfortable with autonomy and accountability

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience
  • Client development experience in a professional services environment, experience selling services to C-level decision makers preferred
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with C-level and other senior level executives 
  • Expert level presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability of leading and managing others
  • Top-notch time management, decision-making, and problem solving skills
  • Previous management consulting experience strongly desired but not required
  • Graduate degree from relevant top tier school preferred, Bachelor's degree required
