Dave Agostine is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in the western half of the United States.
Before joining Market Metrics, Dave spent more than 22 years in the financial services industry, successfully growing and operating investment management organizations. He was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Janus Capital Institutional, where he co-founded and developed the company’s institutional services group. His clients included many of the largest U.S. and global financial services firms. Prior to Janus, Dave was a Vice President for Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, responsible for managing distribution of specialty investment products for insurance companies and banks. His other professional experience includes commercial banking and private equity development.
Dave received a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of South Florida. He currently resides with his wife and two children in Denver, Colorado, where he is active in local community affairs.

Bob Cunha is a Principal of Market Metrics and is based at the firm's headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He works with asset managers in the eastern U.S., providing data about their distribution effectiveness and helping them to make sound decisions to improve their sales, marketing and operational capabilities.
Bob began his career at Monitor Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he worked with senior managers in the fields of finance, industrial equipment, and telecommunications. Bob subsequently joined BellSouth in Atlanta and served in several capacities, including President of BellSouth Products. He later served as Executive Director of Cape Range Wireless, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment supplier. Bob joined Market Metrics in 2001.
Bob received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude with highest honors in History and Sociology, earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa. He studied postgraduate anthropology at the University of Western Australia.
Bob is active in community affairs, and serves as a trustee of Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts. He lives in Milton with his wife and two children.

Steve DeLano is a Principal of Market Metrics and is based at the firm's headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.
Steve began his career with Monitor Group, an international strategy consulting firm headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. From 1986 to 1996, Steve's client work at Monitor included marketing, business unit and corporate strategy in a variety of industries including finance, retailing, telecommunications and industrial products.
Steve began working with Market Metrics when the firm was still part of Monitor Group during the early 1990s. He has been President of Market Metrics since the firm became independent in 1996. During the past decade, Steve has overseen Market Metrics' growth from a niche market research provider to the leading firm in its field.
Steve received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Tom DeLano is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in the Midwest and eastern United States.
Tom has nearly 15 years experience in market research, financial services and consulting. He began his career at Monitor Group, an international strategy consulting firm headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At Monitor, Tom worked with senior managers at Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of industries, and focused particularly on developing strategy for major firms in the annuity, insurance and mutual fund industries.
Tom joined Market Metrics in 1997. Since then, he has been instrumental in launching several new studies. He has also spearheaded the firm’s technology development.
Tom received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from DePauw University. He lives in Oak Park, Illinois with his wife and three children.

Ben Doob is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in the eastern United States. He works with asset management firms, helping them make strategic decisions focused on improving their sales, marketing and operational capabilities. Ben joined Market Metrics in 2002. He has served in multiple capacities, including Chief Information Officer, where he led development of the firm’s technology, data and security capabilities. Later, as Chief Operating Officer, he consolidated management of internal operations and expanded the firm’s organizational structure to support its growing portfolio of products. Ben has also worked for McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm, where he helped clients in multiple industries design sales and operations strategy. Ben received his MBA with Honors from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from Williams College, where he majored in both Computer Science and Economics. Ben and his wife currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia.

Hanno Kowalski is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in Europe.
Prior to joining Market Metrics to help launch its European operations, Hanno began his career as a trainee at WestLB’s Investment Banking Division in 1987. He worked as a Bond and Fixed Income Derivative sales trader and held various positions in asset management and private wealth management before joining Reuters in 1996, where he managed a sales and support account team. Hanno’s deep knowledge of the buy-side and sell-side markets in Germany, combined with sound management and sales experience, subsequently lead him into a Business Development role at FactSet Europe in January 2000. First based in London, Hanno quickly started to grow FactSet’s business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He opened the Frankfurt office in the following year and expanded his responsibilities into Southern Europe and the Benelux. As a FactSet Regional Director, Hanno was responsible for the management and development of FactSet’s sales and consulting operations in the Frankfurt, Milan, and Amsterdam offices from 2006 through 2010.
Hanno has been trained as a banker and holds a banking business degree from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He currently lives in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Mark Manassee is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in Europe. Before joining Market Metrics in 1998, he worked for nearly 10 years as a strategy consultant for Monitor Group, an international strategy consulting firm headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At Monitor, Mark worked with senior managers at Fortune 500 companies in industries as diverse as retailing, telecommunications, manufacturing and information services. Mark completed his undergraduate studies in International Relations at Tufts University, graduating summa cum laude with the Most Distinguished Achievement award in his department and membership in Phi Beta Kappa. While on a Fulbright scholarship in Belgium, he completed his post-graduate research, with distinction, at the University of Brussels, specializing in the impact of European integration on the European business community. Mark currently resides with his wife and three children in Paris, France.

Joshua Witkin is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages the Communications Studies nationally.
Before joining Market Metrics, Josh was cultivating deep relationships with leading financial institutions since 1999. Josh began his sales career at Instinet, where he worked with the country’s largest fund managers and brokers selling an analytical market data system. In 2004, he was recruited to Tamale Research as Director of Sales, and in 2006, Josh joined FactSet where he rose to Vice President and Senior Sales Executive of FactSet’s Research Management Solutions, with responsibility for sales management of the product line nationally.
Josh graduated from Fairfield University in 1999 with a degree in Communications. Both Josh and his wife, as well as their two young daughters, are involved with charities including CancerCare, St. Baldrick's, and Horizons. Josh is also a member of the FactSet Charity Committee.

Scott Yasharian is a Principal of Market Metrics and manages client relationships in the western half of the United States.
Before joining Market Metrics, Scott spent nearly 17 years in sales and management of various Sales and Consulting teams at FactSet Research Systems. His work over this time has encompassed both investment management and investment banking firms. He has worked with many of the largest, global investment firms, using FactSet’s services to help streamline their research and corporate finance processes. Additionally, Scott has extensive experience with many smaller, boutique investment firms. From 2000 to 2003, he was based in Tokyo as President of FactSet’s Asia-Pacific business focusing on client relationships, operations, and FactSet’s corporate strategy.
Scott has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1996 and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He received his degree in Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. Scott resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
