The mission of my team goes far beyond integrating disparate sources of data into a single interface. We strive to understand the investment processes of our clients, and from that understanding, design a system that makes it as efficient as possible for clients to find the information they need to make well-informed decisions.

Client feedback is vital, and we actively solicit that feedback. First, product developers visit clients regularly to gather feedback on a specific application or to discuss how FactSet
could improve their processes. My team also gathers significant feedback from our Sales and Consulting teams, through support desk calls and client visits. Our clients tell us what they’d like to see from our products, and we gather all of this feedback and incorporate it into our development planning on an ongoing basis.

Success through client relationships
Our most successful products are developed iteratively by FactSet specialists and developers working closely with each application’s user community. Over the years, functionality expands and usability improves thanks to the strong relationship between FactSet and our clients.

I’m currently working to create the next generation of our product suite for Investment Managers. To begin, we spent a year interviewing clients around the world about their investment processes and workflows, as well as their likes and dislikes about our existing products. Now, we’re dedicated to acting on that feedback. Our forthcoming system is designed to be flexible and customizable to any user’s needs while maintaining the robust, feature-rich applications FactSet is known for.
