At FactSet®, we believe that education is a life-long process. That's why we
invest in intensive training for our new hires, organize regular global conferences
for our Sales and Engineering teams, and reimburse employees for relevant coursework
and outside conferences. We are dedicated to developing our employees' knowledge
and abilities so that we can continue
to provide the best products and support.
Training
While training varies from one department to another, FactSet offers an intensive
orientation program to all new hires to provide a basic understanding of our
business, our products, and our clients. Our Consulting and Engineering departments
have created their own customized training programs to provide new employees
with the skills necessary to do their jobs most effectively.
Internal Conferences
Strong teams promote a strong company. Every other year, we bring our global
Sales and Engineering teams together to connect, brainstorm, and share successes.
Sure, each conference has lectures and presentations, but they're also a time
for fun and socializing.
Education Assistance
We’ll help you pursue further education that’s relevant to what
you do. You can take up to two courses per semester in a field relevant to
your career path, and (if approved) we'll help you with tuition — provided you do your part
when it comes to grades!
All regular full-time employees are eligible for Education Assistance from
their very first
day of
work.
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Reimbursement
We want you to know our clients' business! No matter what department you join,
if you are interested in taking the CFA exam, we'll provide training. FactSetters
pass Level I of the exam at a rate of 69% (compared to the national average
of 35%). We'll also pay for the exam for each time you succeed
and give
you
a bonus — up to $10,000! — for each level you achieve.
