FactSet named one of CollegeGrad.com’s Top 100 Entry-Level Employers

FactSet was announced Tuesday as one of CollegeGrad.com’s “Top 100 Entry-Level Employers” for 2008. The website annually ranks employers who hire new graduates.FactSet added hundreds of new employees in fiscal year 2007 while maintaining a U.S. employee retention rate of around 90%. During 2007, domestic employee count grew by more than 30%. In 2008, the company aims to add another 550 employees.
"We find that our college graduate hires bring eagerness and resiliency along with the latest technical knowledge and up-to-date business practices in the industry,” said Dan Viens, Director of Human Resources. “College graduates also positively affect our corporate growth in both products and revenue.”
Most new hires will be Engineers and Consultants, which FactSet prefers to hire directly from college. This method supports a continuous influx of new ideas and the latest technology.
