Engineering Internships

FactSet interns aren't hidden in copy rooms or saddled with outdated equipment. They work alongside our full-time engineers to develop new technologies, brainstorm solutions, and contribute to a project team. During your 12 week internship, you’ll work on a project that personally interests you, while building your skills and relationships. Past internship projects have included designing and deploying a database, developing a GUI application to be used by other engineers, and working with real-time data feeds on our system.

Like full-time FactSetters, interns join in on social events like casino nights, lunch parties, and summer picnics. They also get all the perks that go with being a FactSetter, such as free working lunch in the office, all-day sodas, juices, and snacks, and breakout areas with couches and plasma TVs.

Please note that to be eligible for our internship program, you must currently be a junior enrolled in an undergraduate program and have strong programming and communication skills. We're also interested in candidates with experience in C++, Unix, Perl, .NET, GUI environments, and database technologies.

To apply for an internship, see if FactSet will be on your campus soon or e-mail us your cover letter and resume.

FactSet does not accept unsolicited resumes not linked to specific job openings. FactSet will keep your resume confidential and use it only for employment purposes. FactSet may provide your resume to third-party employment services that assist FactSet with recruiting.

Engineering interns at FactSet get to choose their own projects from a list of presented ideas. This ensures that while interns are learning about the FactSet product, they are also working on something that interests them.
