Opened in 1998, FactSet's Sydney office is located in the Mulpha building in the heart of the central business district, near Circular Quay and Wynyard Station. The office serves clients across Australia and New Zealand.

FactSet's Australia team is currently comprised of 25 employees holding roles in Client Service, Sales, and Engineering. The office culture is a work hard-play hard mentalitity, with all team members working together to achieve success.

Software Engineers design and implement applications using various technologies to be integrated within the FactSet product suite and deployed to investment professionals worldwide. A Software Engineer is typically responsible for all phases of development — from architectural implementation to interface design — closely working with product managers and the sales team.

Systems Engineers are responsible for research, design, implementation, and support of multiple technologies in a high availability production environment. These groups interact with clients, internal departments, and external vendors to evaluate, test, and deploy technology solutions.
